Lauren Mathews, founder of Front Range Acupuncture, LLC, offers acupuncture and herbal treatments for a wide variety of health concerns. My focus is primarily on women's fertility health and pain relief, however, acupuncture is inherently a holistic method which will benefit almost any medical condition.

Using principles from different traditions of Chinese Medicine (Five Element, 8 principle, and TCM) I have developed a unique style which has proven very effective. I believe in diagnosis and treatment for the individual patient rather than approaching everyone in the same manner. What this means is that you will receive treatments tailored exclusively for you and what your needs are on that day.

Aside from needles and herbs, I use many different techniques including cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and a form of bodywork called Zero Balancing to form a comprehensive treatment.

Credentials and Degrees

Lauren Mathews is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. She holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (TAI Sophia) in Maryland and is National Board Certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Lauren graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Psychology.

Initial Acupuncture consultation plus treatment
This 2-hour visit includes a consult, social and medical history, brief Chinese physical exam, diagnosis and a full acupuncture treatment.
Cost: $95

Follow-up Acupuncture Treatment
Each follow-up will be approximately 1-hour in length and will consist of an individually tailored acupuncture treatment and herbal formulas when appropriate.
Cost: $65
Package of 5 treatments: $275 *savings of $50*

Zero Balancing Session
The half-hour body work session can be used alone or in conjunction with acupuncture.

Zero Balancing (ZB) is a hands-on bodywork system designed to align your energy body with your physical structure. Simple yet powerful, it focuses on your whole person, even when addressing specific needs. Considered at the leading edge of body/mind therapies, ZB moves beyond Western scientific approaches to body structure by incorporating Eastern concepts of energy and healing.
