Dianne’s
private counseling practice is in
Denver, as a Psychotherapist who believes in using several techniques
depending on the client's issues and needs. Growing up
with her late father and 2 of her 3 brothers as Psychiatrists, mental
health issues have always fascinated her.
Specializing in :
- Self-esteem issues of relationship problems, eating disorders, negative thinking, and lack of self-confidence.
- Grief and Loss.
- Elderly issues of isolation, depression,
and problems with family members.
- Management of moderation skills for problem
drinkers, and facilitation of support groups. (See www.moderation.org

Techniques include :
- Gestalt, energy work to release blocked emotions, art/sand therapy, the Enneagram, and Cognitive Behavioral.
- Prayer is offered if desired to aid in healing. However, all beliefs are welcome.
Credentials and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado.
- Stephen Minister.
- Master’s of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix.
- Completion of 4 years of training for Core Energetics/Evolution Body Psychotherapy program.
- Past co-facilitator of a parent support group at Judi’s House, for grieving children and their families.
- Practitioner at People House in Denver for affordable counseling, workshops, and community outreach services.
- Life experiences of being a wife, mother of 2 grown children, and caregiver to my late elderly parents.
Policies and Pricing
- $70.00/hour.
- Sliding scale for low-income clients only.
- Receipt given for clients to send to their insurance
companies. (This prevents release of confidential information, a forced
diagnosis, and insurance mandates about the course of therapy.)
